My name is Jim Wilkins. From 1968 to 1970, I lived in the consolidated Jarai villages of Plei Ho Bi, Plei Con chu and Plei Hun lua (sp) I was with the Army's 4th Infrantry Division and was part of a Civil Affairs Team. I became fluent in Jarai and treasure my time in this beautiful place. Since that time 30 years ago,I wondered what happened to my gentle friends. There was nothing to be found but rumors. This site has shown me that my worst nightmares have come true. Thank you for making the plight of the gentle and loyal Montagnard people known.
